897COMPETITIONWin 1 of 2 family passes (2 Adults, 2 Kids)

Spare Parts Puppet Theatre will present the world premiere of its new production Fox, a timeless fable about friendship that breaks new ground in dance-puppetry collaboration.

Adapted from the multi award-winning book by Margaret Wild (Miss Lily’s Fabulous Feather Boa) and Ron Brooks (The Bunyip of Berkeley’s Creek), Fox has won acclaim around the world: CBCA Picture Book of the Year; two Premiers’ literary awards; honours in Germany, Brazil, Japan and a shortlisting for the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal in the UK.

Made up of a cast of professional and talented Western Australian dancers, Fox will energise, move and inspire as it takes you on a wild and energetic ride through scorched scrubland and ochre deserts. Told through a visually stunning fusion of puppetry, dance, and digital projection, Fox holds important messages about friendship, loyalty and trust and is as rich for adults as it is for children.

The world premiere season of Fox starts on Saturday 26 September and runs until 10 October. Suitable for all ages, especially six and above, performances are scheduled daily at 10am and 1pm (except Sundays and public holidays). There are also two special evening performances at 6.30pm on Wednesday 30 September and Friday 9 October. Bookings are essential and tickets can be booked online 24/7 at http://www.sppt.asn.au or by calling 9335 5044.
