STIRLING council expects to rake in an extra $92,500 per year in fees once it installs paid parking along two streets in Voiceland.
From January, the council will start charging for parking on Railway Parade in Mount Lawley and Bradford Street near Edith Cowan University.
A council estimate state $67,000 will likely be collected on the parade annually, while Bradford will attract $25,500.
The council’s community and resources committee will discuss the fees before they’re locked in so the public has an opportunity to comment.
Council staff recommended charging $1 per hour near ECU during business hours on weekdays.
It’ll be $1 to $1.50 per hour on Railway Terrace, but drivers will be able to choose a $5 all-day ticket.
The council plans to review parking in the Main Street Plaza area in Osborne Park following complaints from up to 52 residents and traders.
