Third generation carpet trader Ali Aghapour has been importing and selling rugs in WA for over 18 years. All rugs are carefully hand selected by Ali and his family and imported directly. Ali prides himself on providing the highest level of service, helping customers find the perfect rug. The collection features the last of the nomadic and rural styles to very top end silk and silk-inlaid carpets. Every rug is hand-knotted or woven and made from the finest selection of natural fibres, pure wool, wool & silk or pure silk. No machines are used. The collection also includes vintage and antique rugs, all beautifully restored and in mint condition.

“Every rug has a story to tell, and we love to share this with the customer. For example our rare tribal Balouchi runner was made in East Persia from pure handspun wool and dyed using traditional methods. It took two weavers around a year to finish it,” said Mr Aghapour.

“When you buy one of our rugs, you’re buying a little piece of history,” he added.
