Acclaimed flamenco dance troupe Flamenqueando returns to WA for an exclusive performance on 7th December 2018. Featuring the award winning cast of ‘Cafe Cantante’ (Adelaide Fringe 2018), and joined by brilliant Flamenco guitarist Paco Lara (Jerez de la Frontera, Spain), this is a performance not to be missed! Paco Lara embodies the unmistakeable Jerez style of Flamenco guitar playing. He has toured internationally alongside Maestro Paco Cepero, one of Flamenco’s most legendary guitarists and composers. Flamenqueando Productions features award winning Madrid trained Flamenco dancer Rosalie Cocchiaro; Aria nominated guitarist Damian Wright; dancers Jessica Statham & Chachy Penalver and renowned drummer James Hauptmann (Vince Jones, James Morrison).

Rosalie Cocchiaro’s company Flamenqueando Productions was formed in 2014 when she returned home to Adelaide, after living and performing in Spain for 10 years. Rosalie has performed in many of Madrid’s well known tablaos and has worked with artists and performers such as Bernard Fanning, Bandaluzia and Cirque de Soleil. Flamenqueando’s most recent show ‘Cafe Cantante’ won the weekly Adelaide Fringe Dance Award for 2018.
